Baaaaaaa-sket InSpiration
It is InSpiration challenge day over at the InStyle Stamps blog today.
The InSpiration piece is pretty cool:
When I saw the lines of the house and the levels it reminded me of basket weave. So here is my little basket:
So I mimicked the colors a little by using the craft and the green and the golden egg candies reminded me of the glowing lights in the house. I thought instead of the typical grass in the basket some cotton balls would be a fun play on the sheep. What do EWE think? Baaa-aaa-aaa. Be sure to check out the InStyle Stamps Blog and show us what you come up with.

Friday Fun Challenge- By the Numbers
Today’s challenge Christi says: This weekend is Daylight Savings. Today use numbers on your project. You get bonus points, if you actually use a clock. ;o) No bonus points for me, oh well. I knew right away that I would use my Cupcake designer paper by BasicGrey as it has a sheet with numbers on it. Then, yesterday I saw that "31 Cupcake Inspired Creations" on FaveCrafts.com was released by Maria Nerius. There are some seriously cute projects in there, and it’s FREE. So then I wanted to make a cupcake card and guess what, part of the Cupcake dp has some sprinkles paper. So this is what I did:
I used my Once Upon A Princess cartridge and used my Cricut to cut out the cupcake and the #3. I used my Nestabilities for the ovals and traced the cut lines with my blue gel pen. The larger sprinkles were colored with the blue gel pen and then a drop of Tiara Stickles were added on top for more dimension and a sugary look.
See what the other Fabulous Friday Fun chicks have done:
And you can download “31 Cupcake Inspired Creations E-Book” here:
I hope you enjoy your weekend. I’m hoping to get outside at some point and to craft some too.

Method Monday - Clear Acetate Ornament
Materials:
Clear Glass Ornament
Printable Transparency Film (be sure to get type appropriate for your printer)
Markers (No water based markers, you need Sharpies, Copics, Vis-à-vis or other permanent markers)
Buffalo Snow
Ribbon
Glitter
Clear Glue
Round Die
Scissors
The process of making a clear ornament is much easier than you think.
*Print your image. You need to be sure that the transparency film you have is appropriate for your printer. I got an all purpose type which is 2 sided, a rough side and a smoother side. InkJet printers will need the rough side for the ink to stick while copiers and laser printers use toner which will print on the smoother side.
* Color your image on the BACK SIDE of the acetate. This will help keep the printer ink from smearing and also give more of a stained glass effect. Copics will work, but remember to use the darker colors in the spectrum, you are on a clear surface and not white so you need to go 2 shades darker than normal.
* Cut image using a circle die, but be sure to leave a little bit of tab sticking out the top. You can do this by cutting slits up to the area where the die will cut. Make sure your image and die are smaller than the size of your ornament. **Tip—I used scratch paper to make a sandwich between the die cut plates and the acetate to protect the image from scratches.
*Remove top from ornament and add Buffalo Snow
*Carefully roll up the acetate and feed into the opening of the ornament. I used the circle cut from my scratch paper to protect the image as it is sliding into the ornament. The tab you left at the top will help make sure your image stays straight in the ornament. The acetate will unroll itself once inside. Use tweezers to pull the scratch paper out.
*Replace top of ornament.
*Decorate ornament with clear glue and glitter.
*Add decorative bow with ribbon

InStyle Stamps Blog Hop
It is the last Friday of the month which means that it is time for the InStyle Stamps Blog Hop. You should have hopped here from Cyndi’s blog, if you are starting here you want to go back to the InStyle Stamps Blog and make sure you don’t miss a thing.
This month the theme was Giving Thanks. I decided to make this cute little basket to go with the Easter Basket stamp. Just because baskets are associated with Easter, doesn’t mean that’s the only time you can use them.
I put my sentiment on the lid of the jar. Last week my kids and I made and jarred our own apple sauce and I thought this would be a cute way to package some up to give as a Thanksgiving treat.
Now hop on over to Kerry’s blog to see what she has done. After you have completed the hop be sure to go back to the InStyle Stamps Blog and vote for your favorite project. One lucky voter will win a $25 prize pack from InStyle Stamps.
Products Used: Easter Basket-InStyle Stamps, Indian Summer-Basic Grey- Copic Markers, Crinkle Ribbon, White Prima Flower, Corduroy Brad, White Gel Pen, White CS, Chocolate Chip card stock, Circle Nestabilities, Circle Scallop Nestabilities.

Snowflake Chloe
Every release I say the same thing…..I LOVE Chloe. She is the cutest darn stinkin’ thing, besides my own kids, that I have ever seen. What is she doing now? Playing with a snowflake.
I KNOW you can’t wait to get your hands on her, well you wont have to wait much longer. Snowflake Chloe and all the new releases will be in the InStyle Stamps Store TODAY. Make sure you are subscribed to the InStyle Stamps Blog or are a friend on FaceBook so you will know right away when the store opens with the new images.
Friday Fun Challenge- Santa’s On His Way
We had a fun challenge today, in honor of the full moon tonight we were to make a round card or tag. I pulled out my Circle Nesties and got to work. I wasn’t exactly sure what I was going to do yet when I looked down and saw the cutest little Santa looking up at me begging to jump onto this card. Once I got St. Nick on the card I knew it needed something else, so I went into my sticker drawer and found these pop up snow flakes. The perfect embellishment for this card. I was thinking that I could add a little ornament hook to the top and this card could be a little ornament. So there we go. A 5 minute card with no stamping.
This card is for my FFC this week and Hope You Can Cling To challenge 17 to pop something up on your card.
See what the other Friday Fun Chicks have done:

Jimmi
Sherry (I think she may have actually stamped this week. Yay!)

Taking a Break with Chloe
After such a busy week, Chloe needs to sit back and relax a bit. Today I have a sample for you using the last of our images to be released Sitting Chloe. She and all the images you have seen on the InStyle Stamps blog this week will be released tomorrow, Friday, September 24. Here is the lady of the hour.
A special thanks to Glue Arts who has been sponsoring all the InStyle Stamps designers this week. I am getting the hang of the Glue Glider Pro and can tell you that it will be great for taking to swaps and traveling with my supplies. All the adhesive REALLY sticks, once it’s down it’s down. A little in each of the corners and your panel is stuck in place. I also learned the hard way that the Ribbon Adhesive means business. There is no picking up your ribbon once it’s down. Lastly, I used the U Cut It foam adhesive. This was really cool. I was able to cut small strips to go under the sentiment, assuring that it wont get caught on anything else and lift off when I put my cards in the storage box.
Tomorrow I will be back with my Friday Fun Challenge post and for the InStyle Stamps Blog Hop.

Chloe in Wonderland
It’s Release Week over at the InStyle Stamps Blog. We have all been busy creating special projects for you to look at this week. This week we were also sponsored by Glue Arts. You always need adhesive and this stuff STICKS! Here is my Wonderland creation.
When my girls saw this card they asked me why I colored her wrong. I was enthusiastically told that she should be wearing blue with a white apron. Oh well.
I used the Sasafrass Indie Girl decorative paper, lots of Nesties and of course my pink bling. The Glue Arts Ribbon Adhesive is STRONG! A little goes a long way and once it is down it is STUCK. I also used the glue squares for the Prima Flowers and they are not moving.
All of our new releases will be available in the InStyle Stamps store on Friday, September 24.
Don't forget to comment on every new release post on the InStyle Stamps blog this week for a chance to win our awesome Glue Arts prize pack. And to be eligible to win a free digi from us, you just have to comment on our designer's InStyle Stamps posts this week. Not every designer will have a post every day - it's like a treasure hunt! The more comments you leave, the more chances you have to win a free digi image.

Hang in There – New Release from ISS
Hey all! It’s Release Week at InStyle Stamps Blog and today I am showing off a project I made using Hang in There. This digital image will be available in the InStyle Stamps Store TOMORROW! Woohoo!
I made this name frame for one of my twins to go over her bed. The old name plaque I had for them was Noah’s Ark and they are “Big Girls” now, 4 years old, so it is time for something new. Reganne is all about Pink and Polka Dot’s and her favorite animal is a monkey. I have had to hide this from her for now, until I can get one finished for her sister, but that one will have Ellie the Elephant on it and more purple. I am thrilled with the way this came out. The spacing between the a and the n was perfect for the little vine to span.
Be sure to join us tomorrow night at Paper Craft Planet for our Release Party.
