Friday Fun Book Challenge

This week Jimmi says: Book Challenge, make a card or other paper crafted project based upon and/or inspired by the book you are reading or last read (or a favorite).  Well, I did actually read a novel back in December, but it was a crime novel so not much I could use for inspiration.  The last BOOK I read was one of P’nut’s favorites called “Five Little Ladybugs,” she picked that as her bed time story last night.  So this card is based on that book.

I know, I didn’t actually stamp on this card again.   What is up with THAT?  Anyway, there are 5 tiny ladybug brads in the center strip hiding among the holes of the circle border punch.  This is a nice 5 minute card that can be sent any time but would also make a great Valentine’s Day card for your Love Bug.

Friday Fun- A Sweet Treat

This week we were to make a project inspired by candy.  I am still plugging along and doing all the Hope You Can Cling To Challenges at SplitCoast Stampers, so I wasn’t able to make a new project, but I’m not going to leave you empty handed.

Have a great Halloween weekend.  Don’t forget to check out what the other Friday Fun Chicks have in store.

Seeing Spots

Hello and welcome to my post for Unity’s Friends with Flair and Friday Fun Challenge.  If you are hopping along with the FWF you should have arrived from Jimmi’s blog.  If you want to see what all the Unity fans have done today you can start at the Unity Blog (after 10 am Eastern) so you don’t miss a thing.

This week Sara asked us to make a card with circles on it.  Easy, right?  This simple little card took me an hour to make.  I do better with layers, coloring and complicated.

I used the July KOTM Happily Ever After and paired it with Pink Pirouette card stock and dsp for a cute little birthday card.
