Royal Kat Monday - Art Deco

Happy Monday!  You should have hopped here from Wynneth's blog, if you are starting here you will want to go back to the beginning at the Queen Kat Designs Blog.

Here is my art deco inspired card.
My card is based on this inspiration:
Art deco design is characterized by the use of chrome and symmetrical tiers.  On my card I used a metallic pink card stock in the back and I tiered my layers to mimic the design of the buildings in the art piece.  I love that the mother in this image is also reminiscent of that 1920's feel, which is when art deco design was in it's height.

  1. This is fabulous Kimme - I really love this Mommy 2 stamps, it would have been so useful to have her as I need to make a baby card for my friends who are new Grandparents! I love how you tied in the Deco theme into your card and the whole thing looks wonderful :o)
