Friday Fun FairyTale

Feb 26th   is Tell a Fairy Tale Day….so choose your favorite Fairy Tale and make a card based on it.  Show me your Princesses, Dragons, or anything Magical.

I used these cute stamps from Never Ever by The Greeting Farm with images from Peter Pan.  The first time my girls saw these images they knew immediately who Peter Pan and Tinker Bell were, but insisted that the below image was Jane (Wendy's daughter) and not Wendy.  Yes, we know all these stories very well.

As I was working on this card it seemed cute enough, but before I put it all together it dawned on me that I could take this one step further.
Yup, Wendy (or Jane) slides out to be used as a bookmark.  I have magnets on the inside of the bookmark so that it wont slip out of the book, a trick I learned very early in my stamping days and have used ever since.  I don't know why all bookmarks aren't magnetic.

Stamps:  Never Ever-The Greeting Farm
Paper: White, Barely Banana, Regal Rose, Sugar Rush-Basic Grey
Ink: Tuxedo Black-Memento, Copic Markers
Accessories: 1 1/4" Punch, 1 3/8" punch, Silver Ribbon, Magnet

  1. This is so darn cute and the fact that it doubles as a bookmark makes it even more perfect! smiles...

  2. This is really adorable Kimme!!! I love that little Tink, she's too cute!
