Hi all! I hope you are enjoying your Friday so far. I have a little something to show you today that is a double duty card. Jimmi asked us to make a Graduation card this week as our Friday Fun Challenge. I chose a couple of Unity sets so this is doubling as a Friends with Flair card as well.
A few people were talking about the crinkle ribbon technique yesterday using seamstress binding and coloring it with Glimmer Mist. I pondered the process and wondered if you could get the same crinkle with spray starch and satin ribbon. Well, it kind of worked. I probably did not let it dry long enough or crumple it long enough, but it did get wrinkly. I still used lots of adhesive and glue dots to make sure that the ribbon stayed where I wanted it, but I think this method did help the maneuvering of the ribbon. Tell me what you think.
