InStyle Stamps January Blog Hop

InStyle Stamps January InSpiration Challenge

Here is a great little InSpiration picture from the InStyle Stamps Blog to get you ready for Valentine’s day! 

I liked all the squares in this piece and found a cute little frame at Target in the $pot to make this project:

There is one blank space to put a picture or a little girl’s name.

Friday Fun Book Challenge

This week Jimmi says: Book Challenge, make a card or other paper crafted project based upon and/or inspired by the book you are reading or last read (or a favorite).  Well, I did actually read a novel back in December, but it was a crime novel so not much I could use for inspiration.  The last BOOK I read was one of P’nut’s favorites called “Five Little Ladybugs,” she picked that as her bed time story last night.  So this card is based on that book.

 

I know, I didn’t actually stamp on this card again.   What is up with THAT?  Anyway, there are 5 tiny ladybug brads in the center strip hiding among the holes of the circle border punch.  This is a nice 5 minute card that can be sent any time but would also make a great Valentine’s Day card for your Love Bug.

Friday Fun-Happy New Year!

We are starting off the year with a little Friday Fun Inspiration for you.

I liked the window panels in the back and had planned on using more circles but ended up with only one.  I used some oranges and blues although I have much more white space and silver.

The DP is from SEI and the sentiment is from a set of SRM stickers.  This was a quick and simple card with no stamping, which is rare for me, but I think it works :)  Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to check out the other Friday Fun Chicks.  Sherry is finally back with us….Yipee!!!

InStyle Stamps January Sketch Challenge

Happy New Year!  After an extended break, I am back in my stamp room and feverishly creating many new cards to start showing you all…..but not just yet.  We have so many changes coming to you from InStyle Stamps that we don’t want to show you everything all at once.  We will start showing you a few things over on the InStyle Stamps Blog, so be sure to check there and then I will start showing you a few of my samples here.  I am so excited for all the changes we are making, I think you all will like them too.  

Here is the Sketch Challenge for January.  It’s a very open sketch with lots of possibilities. 

I also want to take a quick moment to thank you all for your support and love over the past few months.  Most of you know that I lost my Father in the middle of December and had spent most of November and December driving back and forth between Maryland and Ohio, which is why I may not have been as creative lately.  Now that I am home and have my husband home for a while as well, I plan to stamp stamp stamp!!!
