More InStyle Stamps

Wow!  I can't believe that June is already over.  We still have 2 more months of summer break around here, a lot more time to play and have fun in the sun.  Here are a few more samples from InStyle Stamps using their exclusive store images.  These rubber stamps can only be found in stores.  If your local stamp store does not carry these yet, make sure to ask them.  Here are a few places you can find them already.

**Did you notice?  My ISS Badge has changed over on the side bar <--  I am now a member of the Design Team and am thrilled.  You will be seeing even more samples using these wonderful stamps as I work with the Design Team through the rest of the year.

Bella

Strawberry Cake

Balloon Ava
Aren't they cute?  I have to tell you that the quality of the rubber in these stamps is wonderful.  Very deeply set so you need not worry about catching edges.  They are so fun to work with, you really need to go out and get some of these stamps.

InStyle Stamps Blog Hop

**See below for my FFC Post**

Welcome to my stop on the InStyle Stamps Blog Hop.  I am absolutely thrilled to be hopping with this talented group of ladies today.  You should have hopped here from Angela's blog, if you haven't been hopping along you will want to go back to the InStyle Stamps Blog so you don't miss any of the fun.

The theme for this months hop is Patriotic and/or Outdoors.  I decided to use Beach Dude to make my card.
Isn't he so studly?  And the best part is that he wont track sand into your house ;) These images are so much fun to color, and I am having fun playing with my air compressor and Copic Air Brush System.

Now hop on over to see what Tina has created and then stop by the InStyle Stamps store to get your own Beach Dude.

Royal Kat Monday--Taking a Break

Aaahhhh Monday.  Monday's are not sooo bad during the summer.  We run and do 50 things on the weekends and on Mondays I plan to stay home and relax a bit more.  So, as you are taking a moment to relax and be inspired today, be sure to check out all the wonderful blogs on the Queen Kat Designs Royal Kat Monday Blog Hop.  You can start at the beginning at the Queen Kat Designs Blog and as you hop along you should have stopped at Wynneth's before hopping here.

Here is my little coffee break card for today.  Our color challenge for this week is to use blue and brown together.

A rather simple little card using Tea Time.  This set is not currently available, but it is new to me.  If you see any sets that are still in acrylic, snatch them up while you can.  Remember, all clear stamps are 60% off while supplies last, so get a good deal and add to your collection.

Now hop on over to see what Keely has for you and then be sure to go to the Queen Kat Designs Store and get some of those clear stamps.

FFC Gone to the Dogs

A quickie post today.  Today Jimmi told us, " I am dog-sitting LOTS of dogs this week so let’s make cards with doggies or kitties on them OR a card for a pet owner!"  So here is my puppy card:

The puppy is from a set from Recollections, the paper I have had for a while and I am unsure of the name, the bone brad is from Eyelet Depot and I colored with Copics.  How is that for details?  Sorry about that.  Not having the most mentally clear day.

Now make sure to check out the other Friday Fun Chicks to see what they did today:

***This one is also for you Dixie.  I hope you had a great week with the mouse :)

InStyle Stamps

As you know I have been working with InStyle Stamps lately and feverishly making cards for them, but there has been an absence of  my work here.  Well, wait no more.  I will be posting some of the samples I have submitted over the next few weeks.  These images are so well drawn, they are really fun to work with and coloring them seems to come natural.

Beach Dude

All my coloring was done with Copic Markers.  This line of rubber stamps can be found in retail stores.  If your local scrap store does not carry these stamps YET, be sure to ask for them.

Friday Fun - Friends With Flair

Hi all!  I hope you are enjoying your Friday so far.  I have a little something to show you today that is a double duty card.  Jimmi asked us to make a Graduation card this week as our Friday Fun Challenge.  I chose a couple of Unity sets so this is doubling as a Friends with Flair card as well.

A few people were talking about the crinkle ribbon technique yesterday using seamstress binding and coloring it with Glimmer Mist.  I pondered the process and wondered if you could get the same crinkle with spray starch and satin ribbon.  Well, it kind of worked.  I probably did not let it dry long enough or crumple it long enough, but it did get wrinkly.  I still used lots of adhesive and glue dots to make sure that the ribbon stayed where I wanted it, but I think this method did help the maneuvering of the ribbon.  Tell me what you think.

Details

Stamps: Unity Kits of the Month 10/09 and 5/10
Paper: All paper is Stampin' Up!
Ink: Memento Black
Accessories:  White Satin Ribbon, Stardust Gel Pen, Dew Drops

Now make sure to check out the other Friday Fun Chicks to see what they did today:
